CTA Apparels is a vertically integrated garment manufacturer and exporter in India. With an annual turnover of more than USD 35 million, we are a star rated export banner and cater to the requirements of leading and high street fashion banners around the world. With such heavy scale of operations and a global customer client base, ‘quality’ becomes a major parameter. Therefore at CTA, we have taken care of it in a dedicated way and continuously strive to push the bars high! We are thus able to maintain the highest standards in our manufacturing and always satisfy our clients.
Quality maintenance at CTA is a tough job and comprehensive too because every step beginning from raw materials and processing to production and packaging has to be guarded thus requiring a complete code. Our quality control begins with the process of QbD or ‘quality by design’ and it involves an early risk analysis in the nascent product development stage itself.
AQL Level 1.5 standard of inspection is maintained by all our factories and
processing facilities. One core ingredient of our AQL based inspection
is to reduce and eliminate defects at every stage of manufacturing and
processing and thus reduce cost and timelines. The different stages of
inspection include –
Raw materials inspection
Initial inspection
Production time inspection
Final inspection
With QbD, CTA assesses the core demands of the client together with the quality standards that are sought. This includes investigations by the product specialists and designers who find out the specifications, the core quality dimensions of relevance and how best the production can be done. They also take into account the standards of the industry in the international domains. With this fundamental information, ‘controlled manufacturing’ is initiated by CTA and the finished product is offered to the client for initial clearance. While quality is ascertained as per client norms, the QbD also ensures cost effectiveness in production.
CTA Apparels has developed, established and implemented its ‘in house’ QMS or ‘Quality Management System’ which is meant to guard in a dynamic manner the complete process of garment manufacturing so as to ensure strict adherences with the ascertained quality norms and standards. Our QMS broadly conforms to the guidelines and benchmarks of ISO 9001:2008 Certification on quality. The QMS involves the following –
Identification of appropriate methods – our product specialists and
quality team finds out the relevant methods to assess and compare the
quality of the produce.
Implementation strategy and codes of production as per set
standards – the objective code of production is determined towards
serving the particular client as per the agreed standards.
Monitoring of manufacturing cycle – our trained and dedicated
inspection teams ensures dynamic monitoring of the entire fabric
processing, manufacturing and packaging.
Checking the deviations for zero tolerance – deviations are checked
in QbD stage itself to bring down the inconsistencies to level zero.
RQS or ‘Requirements for Quality System’ is an adjunct of QMS. Through RQS, CTA ensures quality of the finished product as per client standards. Main components of RQS include – Develop and secure the process Prepare an internal quality control team Dynamic cooperation and coordination between various teams ‘in house’
