CTA Apparels is a leader in garments manufacture and exports in India and achieves turnover of USD 35 million and more per year to continue as a star rated company. While we have continuously endeavored to move ahead and push up the bars of production, we do believe in the core philosophy that such progress is not possible without commitment to ethics, labour welfare & safety, responsibility towards environment and sustainable development. Therefore we adopted much early a charter that defines our responsibility and guides our conduct towards our workforce and allows taking practical initiatives in the name of corporate social responsibility
We believe in the principle of ‘Responsibility First’! With such approach
and attitude towards our human resource, the labour welfare measures
become much viable and fruitful and thus also help in garnering labour
satisfaction which is a key index of our growth and success. We therefore
take the welfare of our workers very seriously and the HR department
remains engaged dynamically to look into the needs and concerns.
CTA while offering means of livelihood to its workers also responds
towards their needs through initiatives in the segments of –
Labour Rights – ensuring through a charter that right of every worker is fully secured and enforced and there is no discrimination on ground other than merit!
Workplace optimum standards – ensuring that the workplace environment meets the optimum standards and guidelines as determined by the laws of the land and industry bodies.
Workplace safety – complete safety of every worker is considered from the perspective of workstation safety, safe building, training in difficult and accident prone tasks (safe exposure to risk conditions), safety buffers and alarms systems (fire/chemical detection) and other interventions; physical, chemical and other hazards are also assessed through risk analysis.
Workers health – our safety team does regular audits and we engage the specialist agencies also to look into the potential health hazards to workers; like those emanating from any kind of factors and concerns developing at workplace and work. Maintenance of adequate temperature and ventilation is ensured to reduce workers’ stress and fatigue and maintain their vital health. Regular health check up is also done ‘in premise’. Apart from the core interventions, our HR division also arranges regular health and safety training, fire drills & mock evacuations and rescue & response training as the preparatory and prevention measures.
