CTA APPARELS INSTALLS 1 MW SOLAR PLANTS
CTA Apparels has moved up the ladder of success while maintaining fully ethical operations and a genuine concern for the society and environment. Towards sustainable development and growth, we adopted initiatives of practical relevance. Recently, we installed solar power generation module of 1 MW capacity for all our units and this allows us to save enough power. We plan to go green through solar power capacity augmentation every year and emerge as a clean manufacturer in industry. A dedicated CSR department also oversees the adherence to all applicable norms from our enterprise lines while water use, re-use and recycling are also undertaken effectively.

CTA OFFERS SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TOWARDS BOOSTING SKILL INDIA MISSION OF GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
CTA Apparels is proud partner in national development through its dedicated skills training program that it offers at its manufacturing facilities. In pursuance of ‘Skill India’ mission launched by Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi, we have trained 1500 people in the basic apparel tailoring and machining/ sewing skills in the last one year. Such training is offered with the objective of developing appropriate skill in the person so that he/she finds active and stable employment in the apparels sector. We have also absorbed number of trainees in our own facilities. We aim to boost these figures in the coming financial year through a well laid program of training.

CTA DISTRIBUTES SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE MERITORIOUS CHILDREN OF ITS EMPLOYEES
CTA Apparels is committed to the cause of social good and executes CSR initiatives of practical worth. Study scholarship for the students of its employees is one such program in which the Company distributes Rs 6000 to every girl student and Rs 4800 to every boy student. The criterion for eligibility of this scholarship is that the student should achieve minimum of 65% marks in grades 6th to 12th. Last year in September 2016, Company organized the felicitation function for 21 students who emerged eligible for this academic scholarship. Mr. Sunil Garg, the General Manager of CTA was the Chief Guest at the function and inspired the students and workers for the cause of education.
